Moving out checklist

Before you move out:

1. Clean the property to state you found it when you moved in.

2. Contact Royal Mail to have your post redirected.

3. Take final meter readings and inform utility providers.

4. Return routers and other equipment to broadband providers.

5. Replace broken or missing items, including bins and furniture.

6. Replace batteries and faulty light bulbs as necessary.

7. Put all inventory items back in their original position.

8. Put all bins out for collection. Do NOT leave rubbish in the garden – it will not be collected.

Remove personal items #

Remove all personal possessions from the property. No items can be stored at the property after the occupancy has ended because of maintenance work.

Items left will be disposed of at your expense.

Keys #

Replace lost keys then:

1. Lock all doors and windows.
2. Leave bedroom keys in the bedroom door.
3. Put other keys on the kitchen table.
4. Return the master key to the lock safe.
5. Lock all external gates.
