Utility bills and fines

You are responsible for all utility bills and fines associated with the property. This includes, but is not limited to:

• council tax (usually zero for full-time students)
• gas
• electricity
• water / drainage
• broadband
• television
• parking
• waste disposal

Meter readings #

Unless you have a smart meter, we recommend you read and submit meter readings to your supplier on a regular basis to avoid estimated bills (typically shown with an “E”).

Unpaid bills and fines #

Please ensure you pay bills on time to avoid service disruption and disconnection. Contact the supplier immediately if you have difficulty paying.

Each occupant is jointly and severally liable for payment of all bills and fines. The property owner can deduct money from deposits and contact guarantors for any outstanding payments. Your contact details will be passed to suppliers as necessary.
